MNCEA DELEGATION PARTICIPATED IN THE RECOASIA STUDY TOUR

The delegates from the Mongolian National Council for Education Accreditation (MNCEA) took part in the RecoASIA project study tour organized by the Information Centre on Academic Mobility and Equivalence (CIMEA) of Italy in Rome on October 10-14, 2022.

During the four-day study tour, Dr.Yanjmaa Ochirbat, Deputy Chair of the Governing Board and Director of MNCEA, Vocational Education and Training Accreditation Specialist of MNCEA, Dr.Oyuntsetseg Bar, and the Lead of Mongolian National Information Center Mr.Zorigt Munkhtuya, participated in several activities and workshops, including reports by participant countries, and presentations on APICE (Italian Professional Association of Credential Evaluators) and CIMEA’s good practice of detecting fraud in educational credentials as well as credentials evaluation methodology.

MNCEA carries out the duties of the National Information Centre (NIC) under obligations by the Asia-Pacific Regional Convention on the Recognition of Qualifications in Higher Education (known as the “Tokyo Convention”). The agency has implemented the Erasmus+ RecoASIA project, which is co-founded by the European Union Erasmus+ Programme, since 2019.
