On October 14, the Deputy Chair of the Governing Board and Director of the Secretariat of the Mongolian National Council for Education Accreditation (MNCEA) Dr.Yanjmaa Ochirbat and the Director of the Information Centre on Academic Mobility and Equivalence (CIMEA) of Italy Mr. Luca Lantero signed a Memorandum of Understanding in Rome, Italy.

The aims of the Memorandum of Understanding include fostering of the existing relationship between the two agencies, promoting technical cooperation that will be of mutual benefit through avenues such as exchanges of information and expertise, and collaboration in the field of recognition of academic qualifications and credential evaluation.

The Memorandum of Understanding will remain in force for a period of five years and may be extended by mutual agreement of both parties.
