On March 25th, the Mongolian National Council for Education Accreditation (MNCEA) hosted a meeting with the Mongolian educational members of the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) at the University of Finance and Economics to formally set up an organizing committee for the ACBSP Region 8 Fall Conference, to be held in Ulaanbaatar in September 2022. The meeting was presided over by Dr. Yanjmaa Ochirbat, Vice-chair of the Governing Board and Director of the MNCEA Secretariat. Ms Saruul Erdem and Dr Bolor Buyandelger from MNCEA briefed the participants on the overall planning and organization of the upcoming conference. The first official meeting of the organizing committee is scheduled to be held in April.

Currently, ACSBP has a membership of 14 universities in Mongolia. The University of Finance and Economics was the first Mongolian university to have its programs accredited by ACSBP.
